Our safe space is for...

Our safe space is a welcome and safe space for people who identify as Neuroqueer, but we also support our allies as well.

Allies can also play a crucial role in making the world a better place for our community by helping us remove barriers, gain understanding and acknowledge the additional hurdles we face.

So whether you identify as Neuroqueer or an Ally, this space is for you!

Meet Luke, Our Founder

What inspired me to start NeuroQueerz – Life Experience!

I was diagnosed with mild ASD aged 7, PTSD in my late 20s and ADHD aged 33. As a NeuroQueer-ky person, throughout my life I have battled and experienced endless harassment, discrimination.

I am passionate about Diversity, Wellbeing and meeting new people in a variety of surroundings. I have also suffered in isolation and I believed I was an unsociable person who hated all people but I then realised there is a fine-line between struggling in certain social environments and being destined to suffer in silence.

Having endured the struggles that come with being both Neurodivergent and queer, I have grown a desire to provide tools and support to create a safe space for the Neuroqueer community to socialise in a way that suits us.
